Networking event for the Tokyo game localization community
東京近郊エリアのゲームローカリゼーション従事者が集うネットワーキングイベント

Loc Talk is a networking event for the whole Tokyo game localization community: from developers, to testers, to project managers, to translators
Loc Talk は開発者、テスター、プロジェクトマネージャーから翻訳者まで、東京エリアで活躍するゲームローカリゼーション従事者向けのネットワーキングイベントです。


Set in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, it features social panels on useful, actionable topics. Did you ever wonder why video game developers give so many space limits? Or why translators make so many odd questions? Discuss your experiences with veterans from all sides of localization, and use them to improve your daily work.
とはいえそんな仰々しいものではなく、和やかでリラックスした雰囲気のなか、持ち寄ったトピック（有用な情報から明日から使えるティップまで）について語り合うカジュアルな集まりです。ローカライズという行為に携わるさまざまな専門家が集まる会なので、「なんで開発者はあんなにスペース制限するんだろう？」。「なんで翻訳者はあんなに変な質問をしてくるの？」のような今まで気になっていた質問に回答が得られるかもしれません。


Panels are either in Japanese or in English, but all of them feature bilingual abstracts and notes.
イベントでは日本語か英語のいずれかになりますが、まとめやメモなどは両言語で提供されます。
