Hi Henry,
I had made several contributions to the glossaries using this "Contribute to this entry" feature: Agrees, disagrees, comments, that help enrich the glossary and also help the translator when looking for that "exact" word.
However, it seems these contributions just "die" there. Once you did it, how does the translator know there is a "contribution"?
I remember there used to be a box stating "this glossary /or answer or whatever) has 2 positive comments" ... See more Hi Henry,

I remember there used to be a box stating "this glossary /or answer or whatever) has 2 positive comments" or 3 negatives comments, or something like that. So that you can go and read the comments. There is nothing like that now, so one assumes there are no comments.
How does this work? Does this work? Please?

It took me some time to find out where these negative reviews could be seen.
To see them you have to browse the KOG, find the relevant question and if there is a disagree, for ex. you will notice a -1 in red on the third column "add comments". If you click on that question it will open and you can read the comment.
It is the only instance in which I found the comments. If you search an expression you won't see the comment, or at least I couldn't.
In this way, it isn't very useful, because someone searching the glossaries will never read a comment! ▲ Collapse

Thank you, Francesca. Unfortunately, what you tell me, confirms the feature is useless. Nobody will go through all that hassle.
We ussually look for a term or a word in the glossaries/Kudoz. The + or - dis/agrees don`t show there.
It would be nice if staff members do something about it.
Maybe including it in "things to do list", Henry, Jason, Colin?
