Bio
I started learning English back in 1969 in India, where graduated from high school and started university studies.
Graduated in mechanical engineering in 1979 at the Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1984 received my PhD in cold metal forming at the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Worked in software development, management, international trade, wholesale and retail sales. Worked as an English-Bulgarian interpreter for a Bulgarian company in Tehran, Iran.
During these years I have worked as a freelance translator for different translation agencies in Sofia, Bulgaria and for a translation agency in the Sweden. The source materials were from different fields - software system descriptions, automotive repair manuals, engineering equipment, dietary supplement descriptions, legal contracts, affidavits and other legal documents, etc.
Between Dec. 2006 and May 2008 translated sections of car/SUV service manuals for CBG Konsult & Information AB, Sweden. Later turned down offers for translation due to full time employment engagement.
I do my best to keep agreed deadlines and until now have delivered always on time.
