Language runs in the family - I am a second generation translator and have been interested in languages since an early age. My first translated book was published when I was 14. Nine books later, I ventured into subtitling and then – into freelance translation. Since then, I haven't stopped building up my experience, driven by my strong curiosity in a wide variety of language and non-language-related areas.

• In translation and localization, my fields of best expertise are:

• I have worked or am working as language lead/owner for end clients like Sony Mobile, Sony TV, Huawei, Whirlpool, Samsung, Qatar Airways, Suunto, Nokia, Mattel, etc.

• As a subtitler, I have translated and/or created more than 450,000 subtitles of TV shows, feature films, documentaries, etc., equivalent to more than 45,000 minutes of running time.

• As a copywriter, I have either led or supported the adaptation of the tone of voice and style of a number of world-leading brands into Bulgarian. I have also worked on the transcreation and adaptation of hundreds of print, web, and video ads and campaigns for major global brands like Diageo, Harley-Davidson, Dyson, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Nike, Inc, Duracell, Colgate-Palmolive and many others.

• I am also the lead Bulgarian copywriter for Airbnb, Skyscanner and Patreon through Translated, as well as for Tinder, Equinix, Bershka, Oysho and Stradivarius.

• Since 2017, I have owned a boutique language services company, specializing in English and Bulgarian. I am proud to lead a core team of several highly skilled linguists. Between us, we have 110+ years of experience. We cooperate for willing clients, which allows us to handle large volumes, provide steady availability and offer complete translation and revision services. We take pride in handling the entire English<>Bulgarian workload of some of our major clients.
