I am translating a text regarding diseases of the anterior pituitary glands, for university students (from spanish into english) and I am stuck on which equivalent is better for the register.
Adenohipófisis = anterior pituitary gland or adenohypophsis
I would really appreciate some opinions with valid explanations as to why you feel it would be better to use the selected equivalent..

Wiki only confirms what Melissa already said that both terms are in use. But in the UK normally it is called anterior pituitary gland and I doubt that adenohypophysis is as widely known.
