NRPSI membership: is it worth it?

I was wondering if an NRPSI membership is worth it, considering the annual fee is £232.00? For anyone registered with them, how much work do you get and how does it all work, please? Thank you.

The website doesn't seem to work properly (the Contact Us form is not where it should be) and when I tried to contact them directly with a question a few months ago, I didn't receive a clear answer.

Any members who could share their experience?

The majority of users on this site cannot help you, because they don´t live in the UK, or don´t interpret, so they don´t know enough about it.

Are you a member of the CIoL (Chartered Institute of Linguists), and do you know about the TransNet and InterpNet networks? I would ask there for advice. Whether NRPSI membership is worth it probably depends on a number of individual factors, and you would get several answers to compare with your own situation.

Some can help.

I have been living long enough in UK, and I've done a very thorough research when I considered myself joining this CIoL (Chartered Institute of Linguists). What I found was hardly an inducement to join, to put it in a polite way.
