I am an experienced certified English/Bulgarian and Bulgarian/English, English/Hungarian and Hungarian/English translator. I have been working for a number of translation agencies for 5 years so far.
My mother tongues are both Bulgarian and Hungarian. I have a BA degree in English Philology and an MBA degree. Some of the main subjects during my BA English Philology were: Theory and Practice of Translation, Conference Interpreting, Translation of Business, Legal, Political and EU-related texts; Linguistics, Literature /all centuries/, Methodology and Practice of English Language Teaching, etc. I have more than 5 years of translation experience, including translation of EU-related texts for the European Commission and the European Parliament /via a number of translation agencies/. Due to my MBA degree, I can translate even very specialized business-related texts.
My level of language knowledge according to the CEFR is:
Bulgarian: proficient - C2 /mother tongue/
Hungarian: proficient - C2 /mother tongue/
English: proficient - C2 /BA degree in English Philology/
