Hi everybody,
I have a normal PC (Vista Business) with headphones and a microphone that I use for skype calls. Today I got an unusual request. The customer wants me to translate a short pragraph, then record it and send it back as an mp3 file. Can you tell me how to do that???
Thanks
Gillian

You will need an mp3 voice recorder Oct 19, 2009

It is pretty simple, you should translate the paragraph and read it loud to the voice recorder...

Audacity Oct 19, 2009

Hi Gillian,

Audacity is a good first choice for this task. It is quite intuitive, and offers a few useful features, such as noise removal. You woN't produce studio-level quality with an entry level mike and headphone -- but if it is for a message for an answering machine or some other application where clear audibility is the most important factor, Audacity will be perfectly sufficient.

Kind regards,
Attila
